- VOTING DAY: Tuesday, Nov 5
Visit VOTE.GOV to register to vote, to request an absentee ballot, to double check your registration, and to ensure your current address is on record.
16- & 17-YEAR-OLD NEW YORKERS can register to vote, then vote upon turning 18.

Here’s a PDF about the history of voting, provided by Ren Davidson Seward, Chair of the Voter Registration Committee, Adirondack Voters for Change.
Ren is also the author of Spiraling Round the Promise of the Right to Vote while a Creatives Rebuild New York collaborating artist with JBL! Spiral bound copies of Spiraling are available from JBL! for $25 plus tax and shipping. Great for the classroom!
