August 21 @ 5:30 pm 7:00 pm

Speaker: Jeffrey M. Davis, Writer and Creative Director

The third great-grandson of abolitionist Rev. Samuel Joseph May—a central figure in the 1851 Jerry Rescue in Syracuse, NY—Jeffrey M. Davis’s ancestral discovery sent him deep into the history of the Underground Railroad, ultimately producing a multimedia presentation and a WGA-registered, award-winning screenplay about Jermain Wesley Loguen, “King of the Underground.”
